St Cuthbert's Parish Church And Hall, Bridge Street, Lockerbie

St Cuthbert's Parish Church and Hall, built in 1872, is a Gothic-style church located on Bridge Street in Lockerbie. The church features a gable facing the street and has a square tower topped with a spire, with a hall adjoining to the west. The exterior is constructed of stugged red ashlar with polished dressings.

The tower consists of three stages, with the lower two stages supported by angle buttresses and a blind arcade on the second stage. The third stage includes paired louvred openings set in recessed panels. The spire is an incarned broached design with a tiny finial, although the original finial may have been removed.

The body of the church has a central main door with a hood mould and a moulded arch resting on nook shafts. Flanking the door are lancet windows, and above is a plate-traceried rose window. The church has a steeply gabled slate roof, with angle buttresses on the left and a tall projecting bay that may contain a stair. Inside, the church features a galleried layout supported by cast-iron columns that hold up a decorative timber roof.

The adjoining hall also has a gable facing the street and features paired tall pointed lights in the gable. It is recessed behind the tower with a porch located in the re-entrant angle.
