Description

Dated 1782. 2 storey, L-plan public house (perhaps originally rectangular-plan, gable to street). Rendered, with painted

ashlar margins, dressings and rusticated quoins; pair doors

in re-entrant angle each with narrow cornice; small-paned

windows, mostly sashes; 3rd door in gable to street, large

window alongside, pilasters support continuous ground floor

cornice. Moulded main cornice and skew ends; corniced end

stacks; slate roof.
