Eyemouth Boatbuilding Company, Harbour Road, Eyemouth

The Eyemouth Boatbuilding Company is a later 18th century building that features a symmetrical seven-bay, two-storey structure facing east. The ground floor has three pedimented doorpieces with windows in between. The central door has been blocked and converted into a window, while the window at the extreme right has been lengthened to serve as a door. The main front displays ashlar moulded architraves and quoins only at the ends, along with a modillioned eaves course. The roof is pantiled with a slate casing course, and there are rectangular stacks with block cornices located at the centre and right-hand gable, while the left-hand gable is truncated. At the north end, a two-storey wing extends to the west, and the north flank is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar.
