Description

Mid 19th century, extended 20th century. Single storey and basement lodge on falling ground with bowed E end and modern extension to W. Squared and snecked whinstone rubble with grey ashlar dressings. Projecting ashlar quoins to E; band string course above ground floor; overhanging eaves.

N (FRONT) ELEVATION: symmetrical with central doorway flanked by single windows. 2-bay modern rendered extension with garage to W.

E ELEVATION: bowed projection with tripartite window with narrow sidelights.

S ELEVATION: single windows at ground/basement level; 2 windows (openings reduced in size) above. Replacement windows throughout. Slate roof; small brick stack.
