Description
Abbotsford Lodge, built around 1830, is a two-storey building with a three-bay front facing west and a central door. The door is framed by a Tuscan pilastered doorcase with shallow coved reveals. The ground floor windows feature moulded architraves and cornices, while the first-floor windows have a cill-band and moulded architraves. The building is constructed from coursed squared rubble with polished dressings and angle margins, and it has moulded eaves. The roof is piended and slated, with rectangular stacks at the flanks. A recessed two-storey single bay wing projects to the north, also made of rubble with polished margins and a piended slated roof. The windows throughout the building have lying-pane glazing.
