Description

This building is a house located on Gloucester Road in Malmesbury, dating from the late 18th century and refronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered limestone rubble with stone dressings, featuring gable stacks and an interlocking tile roof. The house has a double-depth plan and consists of two storeys, a basement, and an attic, arranged in a symmetrical three-window layout. The front has raised pilaster strips and a plat band, with coped gables and kneelers. The entrance features a Tuscan doorcase with an open pediment above a round-arched doorway, which includes a batwing fanlight and a half-glazed door. The windows are later 2/2-pane sashes, and there are three casement dormers with cambered heads. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the house are front walls with capped piers.
