Description
Leapark is a detached house from the earlier to mid 19th century, featuring two storeys and a double-fronted design, with a single-storey rear wing. The principal elevation is constructed of coursed whinstone rubble with sandstone dressings, while the other elevations are harled. The building has droved quoins and long and short surrounds around the openings on the principal elevation, along with projecting cills beneath the windows.
The east (principal) elevation has a symmetrical arrangement, with a central entrance that includes a rectangular fanlight and a panelled timber door. There are flanking windows on each storey and an additional window above the entrance.
On the north elevation, there is a single rendered architraved window on each storey to the right of the main body of the house. The single-storey wing to the right features a large inserted entrance in the centre and two large inserted windows to the right, along with a single architraved window on the outer left.
The house mainly has 12-pane timber sash and case windows. It is topped with grey slate piended roofs and has a single harled wallhead stack on the north, south, and west sides of the main body of the house, with round cans. The interior has not been inspected since 1998.
