Description

Later 19th century refacing of earlier building, probably

late 18th century. 3-storey "French Renaissance" facade.

Ashlar ground floor, painted wooden pilastered shopfront

supported by consoles and pilasters. Arched door at right set

in banded pilastered and segmentally pedimented doorpiece.

1st floor with lugged segmental architraves and cill course.

Frieze band and cornice. Pilastered and pedimented dormers

raised through eaves. Slate roof. straight skews, end stacks.
