Description

Dated 1884; rear addition by Robert Murray, 1898. Single storey gabled L-plan lodge. Whinstone with cream sandstone dressings, stugged quoins. Overhanging eaves, exposed rafters; smooth chamfered arrises.

Projecting front gable with datestone above window. Timber porch (now glazed) in re-entrant angle; panelled and glazed door; window to left.

Flat-roofed, dry-dashed extension to rear.

Timber sash and case windows; 8-pane upper sash, 2-pane lower. Grey slates; rendered stacks.

BOUNDARY WALL: rubble boundary wall with boulder coping; break gives access to garage.
