Description

The walls and gate piers of the burial ground on Abbey Row in Kelso were built in 1807. They are made of rubble with a flagged coping and were rebuilt along the west side of the Butts. The gates and gate piers date from the late 19th century and feature rectangular terminal piers with quadrant railings set on a dwarf wall, along with cast-iron gates.
