Description

The churchyard walls, gate piers, railings, and carriage and pedestrian gates date back to probably the 18th century or earlier, with later 19th-century additions to the gate piers, railings, and gates. The walls are constructed of stone rubble and raised with brick. The large grey limestone gate piers are chamfered and topped with pyramidal finials. They flank a pair of good late 19th-century iron carriage gates featuring curved braces and ornamental finials, as well as two bands of quatrefoils. A contemporary pedestrian gate and railings are present to the north, and a section of contemporary railings runs to the south.
