Description

Early 19th century with later alterations and additions. 2-storey, 3-bay harled with droved red sandstone dressings house. Narrow strip quoins.

SE ELEVATION: 3 bays grouped to centre; deep-set 9-panelled door with 4-pane fanlight above at ground to centre with window at 1st floor above. Window to each storey of flanking bays.

NW ELEVATION: 2-storey projection to centre and in bay to left with further single storey addition. Window at 1st floor in bay to right.

NE ELEVATION: 2-bay. Window to each floor of both bays, blinded at ground to right and 1st floor to left. 2-storey 2-bay addition set back slightly with windows to each floor. Window in single storey addition.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Piended slate roof with wallhead brick stacks to NE and SW elevation and also to NW elevation of 2-storey projection.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1995.

AUXILIARY BUILDING: to SW; later; whinstone and brick with piended slate roof.
