Description

House dated 1835, long range to south incorporating 1731

lintel. Rubble-built with ashlar dressings, those to house

painted. House has 2 storeys and 3 bays; off-centre,

basket-arched, pilastered door and fanlight set in pilastered

doorpiece, dated on frieze: narrow 1st floor window above.

Wider right bay with later canted window: 12-pane sashes in

remaining windows. Eaves course and cornice. End stacks and

slate roof. Single storey and attic block to south with 2

bipartites and 2 doors, and 2 piended, canted dormers: door

with dated lintel in single storey wing beyond, and dovecot

in south gable. 3 gabled single storey, rectangular blocks

to south and south east are arranged in U-plan, with slate

roofs.

Walled garden to west with small figure in recess above south

gate.
