121 Renfrew Road, Paisley

121 Renfrew Road in Paisley is a two-storey and basement house designed by architect John Honeyman in 1871. The building features a symmetrical three-bay façade made of ashlar stone, polished at the front and with stugged polished dressings on the sides and rear. The entrance includes a double-leaf panelled door topped by a round-arched fanlight and surrounded by pilasters under a consoled cornice. To either side of the door are tripartite windows with architraves, consoled cornices, and moulded cills. A band course runs along the cornice level.

On the first floor, there are four-pane sash windows set in architraves with panels below. A string course is positioned below the wide eaves, which are supported by wooden brackets. The roof is piended with slate and features corniced stacks at the centre. The sides and rear of the house are detailed similarly to the front, although the windows differ. The rear elevation showcases a variety of glazing, including full-height canted bays on the right and an arcaded staircase window. There is a modern porch added to the basement and a single-storey ashlar extension on the north elevation.

Inside, the entrance hall boasts light oak Jacobean woodwork, and there is a balustrade leading to the steps approaching the front door.
