Greenlaw House, 30 Mansionhouse Road, Paisley

Greenlaw House is a later 18th century building that has undergone some alterations. It is a two-storey structure featuring a five-bay centre flanked by single-storey wings above a basement. The exterior is finished in ashlar stone. Access to the central doorway is via balustraded steps, which lead into a later two-storey canted bay adorned with Corinthian columns, a projecting entablature, and a balustrade. The windows are architraved and corniced at the ground floor, with Venetian windows in the wings, all featuring two panes. The centre block has a dentilled cornice, while the wings have a simpler cornice design. There is a pediment above the central three bays and two additional pediments on the side elevations that support corniced stacks. The outer bays and wings have balustrades, some of which include urns. The building has double slate roofs that are piended to the rear, and the simple three-storey rear elevations retain 12-pane glazing.
