Description

Rebuilt 1968. Former watermill now hotel. 3 storey and attic

with 2 storey outbuildings. Squared rubble with ashlar

margins. 7-bay (former) 3-bay set at angle. Modern main door

to right of long block. Earlier doors to left of long block

and to middle of 3 bay block hoist door at 1st floor of 3-bay

block. Lintelled windows with modern glazing. Gabled dormers

raised through eaves. Double pitched roof with straight skews

to 6 bays at left of long block. 7th bay covered by pyramidal

roofs of 2 former kilns. 3-bay block, harled to gable and

rear, modern glazing to rear. 2 storey outbuilding at right.

Squared rubble to front with ashlar margins; droved ashlar to

end, painted ground harled at rear. Variety of pend door and

window openings. All roofs slated.
