Moredun Lodge, Stanely Road, Paisley

Moredun Lodge, designed by architect Wm Leiper in 1900, is an Arts and Craft style building located on Stanley Road in Paisley. It is a single-storey structure with a basement and attic, constructed from snecked stugged ashlar with polished dressings. The lodge features sash windows in the basement and a door on the north side, while the ground floor primarily has mullioned windows, with one window advanced to the right of the front door on the south side. The entrance includes a double leaf plank and batten door with chamfered reveals. Corbelled wooden brackets support the eaves, which extend over a projecting window and a slate piended roof with swept eaves. The original dormers on the north and south sides include a former swept dormer and a piended dormer, along with modern box dormers on the sides.
