Description

52 Wheatpark Road in Lanark is a single-storey lodge built in 1882 by William Leiper, designed in the Arts and Crafts style. The building features snecked rubble walls with ashlar quoins. It has an off-centre door that is sheltered by a projecting timber porch, which is connected to a square bayed mullion and transom window, all under a single roof slope. To the right, there is one recessed bay, while the left bay has a bipartite window with a haunched head. The lodge is topped with a slate roof that is piended and has gablet heads, along with red ridge tiles.
