Arthur Allison Memorial Hall, 83 Glasgow Road, Paisley

Arthur Allison Memorial Hall, located at 83 Glasgow Road in Paisley, was designed by architect T G Abercrombie in 1893. This building features a free style design and is constructed from snecked stugged ashlar with polished dressings, including long and short quoins. It has a rectangular plan and consists of a tall single-storey hall that runs east to west, with two cross windows in the west gable and an outshot to the north.

To the south, there is a projecting two-storey wing that ends in gables. This wing has two single-light windows at the ground level and two cross windows on the first floor, along with a central buttress topped by a scroll. To the right of this wing is a lower section that features a moulded round-arched door with a small oriel area, which is capped by a balustrade. To the left of the south gable, there is a storey with two 2-light windows and carved lettering in the frieze, along with a balustrade above.

The building is topped with a slate roof that has straight skews and finials on the west and south gables. A wide eaved dormer is present, from which a low pitch piended roof descends to cover the single-storey southwest corner.
