St Paul's Church, St Paul's Square, Perth

St Paul's Church, located in St Paul's Square, Perth, was designed by John Paterson in 1807. This octagonal Gothic church, which has been disused since 2009, features a crenellated design and advanced single-bay sections on the south, east, west, and north sides. The northern section includes an inset five-stage steeple topped with a stone polygonal spire. The church is constructed of ashlar and has a base course and a crenellated parapet. Narrow rounded shafts at the outshot angles support round projections above. The pointed-arched window openings are adorned with moulded architraves.

The tower has a two-leaf timber entrance door on the north side and includes string courses. The crenellated parapet is present at the third stage, featuring angle round projections. There are clocks on all faces at the fourth stage. The church predominantly has three- and two-light windows with intersecting tracery, and some sections have small pane decorative coloured glass, while others are boarded. The roof is platformed and piended, covered with grey slates.
