Broomhill Church, 64-66 Randolph Road, Broomhill, Glasgow

Broomhill Church, located at 64-66 Randolph Road in Broomhill, Glasgow, was designed by Stewart and Paterson between 1902 and 1905. This church features a second pointed Gothic style and has a cruciform plan with an aisled nave and a southwest tower. The exterior is constructed with bull-nosed masonry and ashlar dressings, and it includes boldly stepped buttresses to the west and a plinth. The main windows showcase geometrical tracery with cusping.

The main entrance on the west side is a simple ribbed structure with a pedimented moulded and gabled design, featuring nook shafts and narrow sidelights with two lights each. Above the entrance is a six-light traceried window, topped by a vesica in the gable head. The tower is two stages high with a spire, featuring a hoodmoulded arched entrance on the south side and a two-light window on the east side, with simple two-light windows above. The ashlar bellcote stage includes clocks, a corbel table, and a shallow crenellated parapet. The tiled facetted needle spire is adorned with flamboyant lucarnes.

On the south elevation, there is a projecting aisle with two-light arched windows and three three-light clerestory windows. The transept includes two two-light arched windows, and there is an entrance with a niche above in the eastern bay.

Inside, the church features a north arcade, a transept gallery, and a narrow north aisle. The waggon roof is supported by corbelled pendants, and there is a carved pulpit along with a stained glass east window.

Attached to the church is a four-bay single-storey west section that links to the halls, which have elliptically arched entrances in the outer bays. The west window of the hall is a simple three-light design with cusping, featuring a taller central window. The north return has five bays with four two-light arched windows. The projecting east gable has flat three-light windows at the first floor set in a relieving arch, and there is a central bellcote with a slate roof.

The rear elevation of the halls, which includes a caretaker's house, is two storeys high and features a corbelled oriel at the first floor. Inside the hall, there is a timber trussed roof.
