Description
St Madoes Parish Church, located in St Madoes, was originally built in 1799 and refurbished in 1923. The church has a T-plan layout and is constructed from whin rubble. It features a laird's loft in the projection and galleries at each end. The southwest and northeast gables have Venetian windows, and there is a bellcote at the southwest. The church has two large gothic windows and two smaller gothic windows, with the smaller ones retaining their original glazing. Inside, there is a disused Burgerhuys Bell from 1671.
