Description
The Manse in St Madoes is a building that dates back to 1804, although it may be a reconstruction of an earlier manse built in 1729 or repaired in 1791. It is a two-storey structure with an attic and features three windows on the front, which is harled with margins. The southeast front has a segmentally arched tripartite doorpiece located in the left-hand bay. The high roof includes two original dormers on either side. There are one-window, peind roofed wings at both gables, with the southwest wing constructed of stugged rubble and dating from a later period. Inside, the drawing room has a chimney-piece from the late 18th century.
