Description

The Old Parish Kirk in Kirkmichael and Straloch is a rectangular building constructed from rubble, harled, and cream-washed. It features a bellcote and simple treatment with plain Venetian windows in the gable walls. The church is dated 1791 and has a galleried interior that was renovated in 1893. The architect for the renovation was John Sim from Montrose. A T-plan porch leading to the gallery on the north side was likely added in 1893.
