Description

Whitefield Castle is a ruin built in an L-plan shape, constructed from rubble. Only the ground floor and part of the first floor remain. The ground floor features a broad vaulted scale and a platt stair leading to the first floor, along with a vaulted ceiling. There is a small round-headed window above the door, which is dated 1577 on the underside of the cill.
