Description
Strathearn Gallery, located at 32 West High Street in Crieff, is a single-storey building with a raised basement, dating from the later 19th century. It is part of an irregular terrace on ground that slopes sharply to the southwest. The exterior is constructed of cream sandstone ashlar combined with red squared rubble, featuring a prominent eaves cornice and a deep blocking course.
On the northeast elevation facing High Street, there is a bay that projects from the terrace on the left side, which includes a door positioned at the angle to the left and a fixed display window to the right.
The northwest elevation, which faces Galvelmore Street, consists of five bays. The left side has three fixed display windows, while the right side has two similar openings that are in-filled with red rubble. The raised basement features windows that increase in size from left to right, along with a boarded timber door located at the outer right.
