Old Breadalbane Manse (previously known as Dean House), Crieff Road, Aberfeldy

The Old Breadalbane Manse, previously known as Dean House, is a single-storey building with an attic, dating from around 1845. It features a 3-bay Tudor style typical of the Breadalbane Estate, characterized by decorative bargeboarding. The structure is constructed from chlorite-slate rubble, with large quoins, slab cills, and lintels, and has a four-centred arch door.

On the west (principal) elevation, there is a projecting gabled bay at the center, which includes a part-glazed timber door and a three-part fanlight above it, along with a single attic dormer window. To the left, there is a broad gable with a window on each floor, while a further set-back bay to the right has a window at the ground level and an attic dormer.

The glazing has been largely altered, and the roof is covered with graded grey slates. The building has coped ashlar stacks with cans and overhanging eaves that feature decorative pierced bargeboarding.

The boundary walls consist of low coped rubble, complemented by gatepiers.
