Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical end-of-terrace house, built on ground rising to W, with adjoining 2-storey house to W. Harled.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: timber panelled door with 2-pane letterbox fanlight at ground din bay to centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: blank with raised flue to centre.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Traditional graded Caithness stone tiled roof; stone ridge; stone skews; harled, corniced stacks to E and W; cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1998.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND RAILINGS: low squared and coursed rubble walls with ridged concrete cope; fleur-de-lys-headed railings; similar gate to centre.
