Glenboig Farm

Glenboig Farm is a later 18th century, two-storey, five-bay farmhouse that features classical detailing. It has a lower two-storey, two-bay wing to the east. The building is constructed of random rubble with sandstone ashlar dressings, although it has a concrete tile roof that is not in keeping with its character. The farmhouse has an ashlar base course, rusticated quoins, and a moulded eaves course. The windows and doors have lugged margins with tripartite keystones, and the main part of the house features two-pane timber sash and case frames, with smaller panes at the top. The wing has modern windows that do not match the original style.

On the front elevation, there is a boarded door with a fanlight at the center, flanked by two windows on each side, and five windows on the first floor. The wing to the right has two windows on the ground floor and one on the first floor.

The rear elevation includes single-storey additions at the ground floor, with a window and various blocked openings on the first floor. A steading is attached to the left side of the wing. The interior has not been seen.
