Description

Probably remodelled circa 1840 (ie contemporary with house), incorporating existing buildings. U-plan stables,

sensitively converted for domestic use retaining original

openings. Rubble-built with ashlar dressings and

crow-stepped gables. North range former barn with segmental

archway to each gable and to 2-bay cartshed, loft door and

square windows to long elevations, dovecot in east gable;

flanking ranges single storey with end stacks with

projecting chimney breasts; stacks all coped (1 brick);

roofed with uniform slates.
