Description
Luggiebank Bridge is a road bridge designed by Thomas Telford and completed in 1824. It features a single-span, round arch that crosses over Luggie Water. The bridge is constructed from tooled and margined sandstone ashlar. Notable architectural details include a band course at the springing point, V-chamfered voussoirs and intrados, a parapet with a band course and segmental coping, and splayed buttresses.
