Description

This is a row of twelve cottages, known collectively as the Twelve Apostles, located at Catacol, Isle of Arran. The cottages date to the 18th century and are a single storey with attics, arranged as gables. The exterior walls are limewashed and harled, with a ridge slate roof. The stone-framed windows are painted in different colours, and the doorways feature simple pedimented stone hoods. The statutory address includes the cottages numbered 1 to 12 and the front garden walls.
