Description
This is a row of twelve cottages, known as the Twelve Apostles, located at Catacol, Arran. The cottages date to the single storey and attic gabled phase of construction and are built with limewashed and harled exterior walls, topped with a ridge slate roof. The windows have stone frames, painted in a variety of colours. Simple, pedimented stone hoods shelter the doorways. The statutory address includes the cottages numbered 1 to 12, along with the front garden walls.
