Description

This is a row of twelve cottages, known as the Twelve Apostles, located at Catacol, Arran. The cottages date to the single storey and attic gable phase of construction. They are built with limewashed and harled walls and have a ridge slate roof. The windows are stone-framed and painted in a variety of colours. Doorways are finished with simple, pedimented stone hoods. The statutory address includes the cottages numbered 1 to 12, Catacol, and the front garden walls.
