Description

A group of twelve cottages, known as the Twelve Apostles, at Catacol, Arran, dating to the 18th century. The cottages are single-storey with attics, built with limewashed and harled walls and covered by a ridge slate roof. The window frames are stone and painted in a range of colours. Doorways are distinguished by simple, pedimented stone hoods. The statutory address includes the cottages numbered 1 to 12, and the front garden walls.
