Description

This is a twelve-property row of cottages, known as the Twelve Apostles, at Catacol, Arran. The cottages date to the single-storey and attic gabled period and are constructed with limewashed and harled walls, covered by a ridge slate roof. They feature stone-framed windows, each painted a different colour, and doorways with simple, pedimented stone hoods. The statutory address includes the row of cottages numbered 1 to 12, along with the front garden walls.
