Description

This is a row of twelve cottages known as the Twelve Apostles, situated in Catacol, Arran. The cottages date to the single storey and attic gabled period. They are constructed with limewashed and harled walls and have a ridge slate roof. The stone-framed windows are painted in a variety of colours, and the doorways are each topped with simple, pedimented stone hoods. The statutory address includes the row of cottages numbered 1 to 12, along with the front garden walls.
