Description
This is a row of twelve cottages, known as the Twelve Apostles, located at Catacol, Arran. The cottages date to the single storey and attic gabled period. The walls are finished with lime wash and harling, and the roofs are covered in slate. The windows have stone frames and have been painted in different colours. The doorways are each topped with simple, pedimented stone hoods. The statutory address includes the row of cottages numbered 1 to 12, along with the front garden walls.
