The cottages are paired, each with a shallow-arched doorway featuring a three-pane fanlight and timber-mullioned, sash windows with a four-pane glazing pattern. Each cottage also has a single dormer window, mirroring the ground floor's glazing pattern in a smaller scale. The cottages are constructed of squared rubble with ashlar dressings and slate roofs, with chimney stacks positioned over alternate common walls.
