Description

The Lodge in Lochranza, Arran, is a two-storey building with limewashed harling. It features three sash windows and plain gables with simple skews, topped by a ridge roof. A later one-storey wing extends from the side and includes a Victorian bay window. The older part of the house was built in 1750 by Charles Cowie, who operated the slate quarries on Cock Hill.
