Description

Alexander Ross of Inverness, architect. Built circa

  1. School with adjoining schoolhouse. All whitewashed

rubble. East elevation: house at left schoolroom to

right. SCHOOL: advanced near central gable with 3-

light classroom window, oculus above; tall window to

right with gabled dormer head, roofs swept down over

porch in re-entrant angle; 2-light north gable window;

House: single storey and attic, 2 bays, single attic

window with gabled dormer head. Square-headed openings

sash windows with lying-pane glazing; end and axial

stacks; axial vent over school. Slate roofs. Modern

additions to rear.
