Description
Ardheisker is a single-storey crofthouse located on the Isle of North Uist, likely dating from the 19th century. The cottage faces east and features an elevation that is four irregular bays wide. The three northern bays include a central entrance, while there is a single window to the south. The side and rear walls are blank. The walls are made of thick, slightly battered rubble that has been limewashed and has curved angles. There are end chimney stacks and an off-centre axial drainpipe flue. The timber roof structure was previously thatched.
