Description

44 High Street in Forres is a later 19th century rebuild of an early 19th century house. The building features a gable end facing the street and is two stories high with an attic. It has three bays and a three-bay shop front that opens onto High Street. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with tooled ashlar dressings and a decorative string course. There are two canted dormers and the windows have 2-pane and 4-pane glazing. The building has coped end stacks and a slate roof.
