Description

22-24 High Street in Forres is an early 19th-century building featuring two stories and an attic with three bays. The shopfront is distinguished by Corinthian pilasters, and there is a flat-headed entrance to a pend on the right side. At the rear, there is a wing. The first floor is symmetrical and constructed of coursed rubble with pale sandstone dressings. It has 2-pane glazing, an eaves course, a cornice, and a tall panelled parapet. The building also features gablet skewputts, two gabled dormers, and panelled end stacks, all topped with a slate roof.
