Description
The Gate Lodge and Garage at Kinermony House, built around 1900, is a single-storey and attic cottage with three bays, facing east towards the drive. The exterior is harled with rendered dressings. The central door features a rendered moulded lugged doorpiece, with windows on either side. The south elevation has bipartite windows, while the north, south, and east faces of the pyramidal slate roof each have a single swept dormer that ends in an apex stack. The windows have multi-pane glazing. At the rear, there is a wing that encloses a small service court.
The garage is harled and has two doors, connected to the lodge by a length of wall. It includes a side door on the south elevation, a wallhead stack, and a piended bellcast slate roof.
