Description

Victoria Bridge in Charlestown of Aberlour is a suspension footbridge built in 1902 by engineers and builders James Abernethy from Aberdeen, with James Lawrence from Craigellachie as the contractor. The bridge features a cast-iron lattice-girder span that is supported by main cables made of wire rope. At each end, there are lattice-girder pylons topped with ball and spike finials. The approximate span of the bridge is 320 feet.
