Description

Gardener's Cottage at Dalvey House is a single-storey cottage built between 1830 and 1840. It faces south and features a wide three-bay design with harled exterior walls. The cottage has a central entrance and painted wooden architraves around the windows, which are fitted with six-pane glazing. There are two pairs of square coped ridge stacks, and the piended slate roof projects at the front to create a shallow verandah, which is supported at the corners by rustic wooden columns, with four wooden poles replacing the central support. A bathroom extension has been added to the rear of the cottage.
