Description
45 Moss Street in Keith is a house built between 1830 and 1840, with later additions. It is a two-storey, symmetrical, west-facing structure featuring a three-bay design that faces the street. The exterior is made of tooled pinned rubble with tooled ashlar dressings and margins. The entrance is centrally located and recessed, featuring a bracketed cornice, a panelled door, and a decorative glazed rectangular fanlight. The windows have 12-pane glazing, and the roof is a piended platform, covered with felt tiles and topped with paired coped stacks at the center.
On the north gable, which faces Bridge Street, there is a later 19th-century two-storey projecting rectangular window that includes both 2-pane and 4-pane glazing. The property also has a two-storey rear wing with stacks at both ends and the ridge, along with various lean-to single-storey additions.
