Description
Edinglassie Mains Farmhouse is a single-storey and attic farmhouse built in the mid to late 19th century. It features a south-facing, three-bay design constructed from dark pinned squared granite, accented with pale grey tooled granite dressings. The centre of the farmhouse has a projecting pale grey granite gabled porch with a corniced doorway, flanked by windows that showcase contrasting pale grey long and short detailing. This detailing is also present on the return gable fenestration and angles, which include two canted dormers. The windows primarily have 12-pane glazing, and the farmhouse is topped with a slate roof and has coped end stacks. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing and a lean-to addition located in the rear re-entrant angle.
