Description
No. 44 and 45 Conicavel are early 19th century, single-storey cottages with a dormerless attic. They are a symmetrical pair facing west, each with two bays and canopied entrances located in the outer bays. The cottages are constructed of rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. They feature double-leaf plank doors and chamfered ashlar angles with run-off stops at wallhead height. There is a renewed central brick stack, and the graded local slate jerkin-headed roof has ashlar soffits.
At the rear of No. 44, there is a single-storey extension made of rubble with an end gable and stack, topped with a slate roof. No. 45 has a flat-roofed harled lean-to extension.
